Janice Fuld ’88, Lauren Suraci Johnson ’88, and Selena Martinez ’18 all played a part in this year’s American Graduate Day, a daylong national broadcast highlighting the efforts of organizations around the U.S. working to address the high school dropout crisis.
Fuld works for WNET/Thirteen and was a member of the team that produced the broadcast, which featured 50 organizations, broadcasters, and education leaders. Johnson represented Gateway to College, an organization that aids high school dropouts and underprepared college students to achieve college credentials. Martinez spoke on her experience with Junior Achievement, an organization that inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.
