Prior to the winter break, the nation marked the 50th anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy.

Among those interviewed by PBS Frontline for their coverage of the anniversary was Priscilla Johnson McMillan ’50, who was a reporter in Moscow in the 1950s and interviewed  Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald shortly after his defection to the Soviet Union. After Kennedy’s assassination, McMillan befriended Oswald’s widow and in 1977 wrote the book Marina and Lee, an intimate portrait of the Oswalds’ life together.
