Kathryn Crecelius ’73 Awarded U.S. Investment Management Award

Kathryn Crecelius ’73 was awarded a 2013 U.S. Investment Management Award in the Large Endowment category.  This award recognizes U.S. institutional investors for their innovative strategies, fiduciary savvy, and impressive short- and long-term returns, as well as U.S. money managers in more than 35 asset classes and strategies. Crecelius has been the CIO of Johns Hopkins University since 2005.

From the Institutional Investor article, “Since Crecelius’ arrival the endowment has moved to the top quartile for one and three years in the Cambridge Associates universe—12.6 percent and 9.3 percent, respectively—and is above the five-year median at 2.7 percent.”
