For the second time, Finance & Commerce recently honored Lauri Penney Salverda ’85 with its Top Women in Finance Award, which recognizes “outstanding efforts of women who are making notable contributions to their professions, their communities and society at large throughout Minnesota.” AS a two-time honoree, Salverda enters Finance & Commerce‘s “Circle of Excellence.”
A principal at Clerestory Advisors, Salverda majored in economics at Bryn Mawr and has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years. She is currently serving as the president of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota and as the Twin Cities Coordinator for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Midwest Speakers Bureau. In addition to her professional activites, the award recognizes Salverda’s commitment to volunteer work.
