Luba Nissenbaum ’08 will be participating in an Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) panel, answering questions and sharing her experiences while working with the organization. The panel will follow a screening of Access to the Danger Zone, a documentary on the challenges that medical humanitarian organizations face delivering aid in conflict zones.
Nissenbaum has been working with MSF (French for Doctors Without Borders) since her graduation from Bryn Mawr in 2008. She has worked in the field office in New York, as well as serving as a field worker in Mongolia and several African nations, including South Sudan.
Anyone interested in attending the Nov. 14 event in Philadelphia can preregister on the MSF website.
