Susan Goldberg ’77 was featured in an article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette regarding her work aiding in the “1,000 Stories” 10-year initiative of her hometown. This initiative was established in 2010 to document personal stories of those living in the Hill House neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Goldberg, an assistant professor at Duquesne University, had her students interview members of the Hill House neighborhood and document their experiences. Though the Hill House Association staff completed the first 15 interviews, Goldberg’s students conducted 12 this past spring and summer and nine in the fall.
